Thanks for helping us promoting a great concert. Power Ska band from Caracas Venzuela, 6 european tours, 5 Latinoamerican Tours, 20 countries, 3 independent albums, 18 years of independent music. In May 1992 PALMERAS KANIBALES was born. In October, they played their first official show. In May of 93 they played at “Nuevas Bandas” VI Festival. In 1997 they make a tour in Mexico comprised of 23 shows. In 1998 they released their first independent album “13 Súper kañonazos Bailables Vol. 13”. Then played in Argentina. In March of ’99, they went back to Mexico playing gigs among 5 states. Back to Caracas they won the ‘Best Ska Album 1998’ award. They were also awarded by the specialized radio show ‘Radio Pirata’ as ‘Best Ska Band of the 90’s’. In November they returned to Argentina. In August 2000, played at the Carnivals of La Habana, Cuba; and in Olguin city in September. In 2001, released 2nd album ‘Siempre comemos con hambre’. In 2002 they played in Santiago de Cuba 7 shows. In October 2004 they went back to Mexico. Then in September, they support ‘Skatalites’. Later, in November, Palmeras Kanibales toured Europe for the first time, playing 13 shows in 6 countries. In January 2005, they go to the Global Social forum at Porto Alegre, Brazil. In June, they toured Europe for 2nd time and played 20 shows in 6 countries. In August they participated in ‘El Tortazo’ at Bogota, Colombia. In December, they were invited to “Quitu Raymi” at Quito, Ecuador. In April 2006 toured Brazil and Chile. In September they released their 3rd independent album named “La Ruta”, and completed the 3rd European tour across Germany, Holland, Austria, France and England. In 2007, Palmeras Kanibales plays in Chile, Argentina, and Perú. Between June and August, played the 4th european tour with a total of 23 gigs. In 2008 Palmeras Kanibales tours in Chile, Argentina and Brazil on may, and in june 2008, the band toured in Europe for the 5th time.
