FUAT TALAY: has played and sung Anatolian folk music since the age of 10. He has been touring around the world. In the later years he has played Baglama (Saz) with artists such as the Kurdish singer Sivan Perwer, the diva of Turkish folk music Sabahat Akkiraz, and the Danish resident Arabic singer Aida Nadeem’s band "Arabtronic". Fuat Talay has in cooperation with Efkar Ensemble in Sweden released the album "Back to Anatolia" with the record company Caprice Records. Furthermore he has participated as organiser and has played Saz on numerous albums. Political unrest along with the lack of freedom of speech in Turkey, forced him to abandon his native country, witch he still cannot return to.
MASHTI aka MADS NORDHEIM: Composer, producer and DJ, based and working out of Copenhagen, Denmark. Hi has been working with electronics over the last decades, and combining the electronic with the acoustic and old traditional music from different parts of the world like India, Iran and Turkish music.
MARYA AKHTAR is trained in Pakistani and Indian classical and traditional music. She has been singing Sufi music (spiritual music) from a young age and composes her own music to the lyrics of classic Sufi poets from the Indo-Pak region and presents it both in its classical form as well as in the style of electro/fusion. She has performed at various localities in Canada, England, Sweden, Turkey and Pakistan.
